The focus on supporting our staff and our customers lives on…

Ever since the first days of aZtec Commercial Cleaning in 1979, as founded by Geoff Furber, the ethos of the company has not changed. 

Today you’ll spot some of the same faces as in the 1990s. Not only do they value how they have been supported, they are happier having their photos taken now too! Tracy Campbell (joined 1998) & Peter Knott (joined 2002) have continued to run aZtec with the same supportive family feeling.

Never has this commercial cleaning company been tested as much as during 2020 through the COVID-19 pandemic. aZtec however supported commercial cleaning customers with an immediate pause to service and billing wherever requested, whilst working tirelessly to maintain and amend services at all sites. 

Internal teams have always supported each other, but found new ways to do so through a very changeable and high pressure time. We are very proud of our team. With over 300 cleaners.

Building & Supporting Ripple Africa

aZtec Commercial Cleaning supports Ripple Africa, a charity in Malawi.

Ripple Africa was set up by aZtec’s founder, Geoffrey Furber, and his wife Liz in 2003. Without the experience of aZtec, this charity would never have existed.

The charity’s main focus is to empower communities so they can achieve a sustainable future. Ripple Africa strongly believes that local people are the solution to many of the challenges they face as a community. To this end, every project Ripple Africa runs is a proactive response to the community’s needs, by giving the local people the tools to change their environment and therefore their lives.

aZtec continues to support this charity which focuses on Environment, Education and Healthcare. Their motto is ‘a hand up not a hand out’.
