Here at aZtec, we like to support and encourage personal development, gaining new skills and qualifications in chosen fields. Our most recent success is our Admin / Accounts Apprentice – Paige Hales.
Paige accepted a position within the aZtec family in the Summer of 2015, as an apprentice in our accounts team; also learning and applying Business Admin within her role. We are exceptionally proud of how well she has taken to this role and made it her own.
Paige enjoys going to the Gym at the most ridiculous hours of the day, and is capable of devouring a whole roast chicken to herself for lunch. She enjoys socialising (drinking and partying hard) with her friends at the weekends…and also going wild at Justin Bieber concerts with VIP tickets. Paige has a comeback for EVERYTHING and will not be beaten by any challenge, which coincides with her sassy attitude. She makes sure that everything runs smoothly in aZtec Head Office, making sure everyone’s paper work is up to date, handling the day to day payroll issues and enquiries of the company, lounging all over her desk because she’s soooo tired from going to the gym at 11:00pm and is rubbish at making coffee!!
Paige goes to college in the evening once a week to study AAT Accountancy, with hopes of moving to Australia to work within the Accountancy industry. Paige has been working closely with our Accounts Co-ordinator – Paula Janes, and our Director / Company Secretary – Tracy Campbell, who are supporting her learning and development in this area.
This week Paige sat her first exam in AAT Accountancy and she passed with flying colours!!! (this is mainly due to Tracy threating her life if she failed!!)
